Does anyone here happen to know what read and write speeds a Sigma DP1 will utilize?

I have recently found a supposed 30 mbp/s card – wondering if the DP1 will even be able to write that fast – I am fairly certain what I am using now writes at 6 mbp/s – wondering if this will be a true upgrade to shooting speed or not.

Wow! Michael, where did you find a DP1 for €170?

Truth be told, I’ve been thinking about picking up a second-hand DP1 if I can find one at a good price. Not as a replacement for my LX3; more like a companion. :-)

For ~170,-€ I´m already getting a DP1, whereas a LX3 will cost my ~400,-€, so, the DP1 is a bargain for that price

Yeah, I saw that announcement. Judging by the photos, it looks exactly the same as the DP1. I wonder if they intend it to be a replacement or a companion to the DP1?

I have to say though, the Lumix LX3 is totally floating my boat. They solved every single one of the problems I had with the LX2, so that’s definitely my preferred P&S camera (at least for now).
